The LaGuardia Airport Hotel was ok. The staff was really friendly and that was the best aspect of the hotel. We will not stay there again, as there is a Marriott down the way. The Hotel is EXTREMELY old and the hotel was extremely warm. The heating system needs updating. As soon as the temp outside hits 50 the heat turns on and will NOT turn off. So even if it is 50 one day and 70 the next, the heat is on!! The room AC sucks!!!! Also the restaurant closes very early and there is NO food anywhere within walking distance. Getting into Manhattan wasn't bad, but takes about an hour on the Bus and Subway. The hotel was clean and friendly. If they would update the heating and cooling and do a little remodeling, we might reconsider staying there again.

I left my iPod touch in the room before I checked out. The room keeper should notice it and would have reported it, but it never came back to me. The way the hotel treated me when I tried to solve the problem was not very sincere, either.

A very depressing experience and I feel that they need a new manager to smarted things up. Dinner was slow, table cloths stained , service incredibly slow and water in short supply apparently. Features in the bathroom leave a lot to be desired. $* a day parking to boot.

We had 32 people in our group and the staff at the hotel was great. They allowed us to put our bags in the rooms prior to check in, went out of their way to make us a breakfast to go because we left the hotel before the dining room opened and they were always willing to answer our questions. Everyone at the hotel gave us fantastic service. The halls in the hotel were not as clean and modern as I am used to but the rooms were fine. They were clean and you could tell they had been updated. The dining room has great food and is reasonable for a hotel in NY. I recommend the pork chops! The bus service to the airport is only on the 1/2 hour but it is easy to walk to the airport. It only takes about 5 minutes to get there. And it is easy to get to Manhattan from the airport bus and subway. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in a large group.

The proximity of the hotel to LaGuardia can't be beat. The room was also very nice, comfortable, and worth the price. The restaurant prices are a little high, but the quantity of food served is enough for at least two people!
