  We used the hotel as an overnight so family could get to the airport quickly for a very early morning flight. The lobby was very comfortable. Room was a 1 bedroom suite, but because the staff made a key card error they generously gave us the adjoining room with two dble beds, which made our stay much more comfortable. The room was very spacious and clean. However: since the hotel is under new managment, it seems that our room was previously a smoking room, even though it was considered non-smoking. The smell of stale smoke permeated the place. The room was spotless, but unfortuately, didn't smell that way. I'm very sure that had we complained we would have very quickly been moved to a true non-smoking room. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. The evening welcome dinner was great. Since family had to leave so early and miss the complimentary breakfast, the staff provided a simple snack for all the travellers to take with them. The pool was clean and not too cold. And since the basketball court was right next to the pool the kids enjoyed playing hoops with the ball that was provided. Best of all was t he very quick on-call shuttle service. It truly was a great place to stay and we will definitely use Homewood in the future!

  My husband and I were in CT for a week attending a business conference at BDL. From the moment we checked in at midnight to the time we checked out everything was exemplary. The suite is a true 2-room suite, with a door between bedroom/living room. The free breakfast each morning is great, wide selection. We were pleasantly surprised to find they also serve a free dinner Mon-Thurs w/ beer/wine. Great service. Would definitely stay here again.
