We stayed at the Comfort Inn Airport Old Town for four nights. We chose it for its location and price. The staff was surprisingly helpful and cheerful. The continental breakfast was average, but handy to have coffee and waffles daily, along with two different newspapers. There were two computers and a printer available that made it easy to check e-mail and print plane tickets. The traffic noise was loud, but being hot outside, we ran the air conditioner and it drowned out the traffic. The halls were extremely quiet and we liked the fact that in this price range we had an elevator. There was free underground parking. We've stayed at several San Diego hotels that charged $15-$20 a night for parking. We'd stay here again.

10/11/2009My husband and i stayed at this hotel while we visited california. the staff was excellent the rooms were super nice, clean and it was all just perfect.

The Comfort Inn at Old Town, was a clean and friendly Inn. The front desk was very helpful as was the drivers on the Comfort Inn Shuttle Van that picked me up and brought me to the airport. I didn't have to worry about getting a taxi etc. The room I was in was spacious and had free HBO and Showtime. The only problem was the noice from the freeway right next to the Inn. I would recommend to request a room on the opposite side of the freeway. With the air on however, it did lessen the noice. It is about a ten minute walk to Old Town with some good Mexican Restaurants, shopping and the Whaley House a Haunted House. There is a Trolley stop there too.

My family and I stayed here for a week and We all thought it was a great stay. It was in a great location and the staff was great and helpful. Free shuttles to a lot on thing including the airport. Nice free breakfast and a very nice little store in the hotel for little things you may need. Looking forward to staying again when I visit from Pa again.

Stayed here for a week with my teenager and hotel and experience was even better than expected. Great price, incredibly comfortable bed, free shuttle to area attractions, staff was always friendly and knowledgeable, free breakfast offered a great variety of foods, great walk through Old Town San Diego with interesting shops and great restaurants!Not extravagant, but comfortable and kept extremely clean. I most definitely would stay here again! Don't let the low star rating mislead you...this is a gem!
