Candlewood Suites are always excellent; this one was no exception. Clean rooms and property; friendly staff; the "pantry" in case you don't want to go out to eat; the rooms are spacious and it's great to have the full kitchen. Beds are extremely comfy; choice of pillows in the room; nice easy chair for relaxing; table space to spread out work if you need to; great alarm/radio; movie viewing capability. It really has it all at a very reasonable price. A great value. You can depend on a Candlewood for consistency, which I like. Only negative is that I thought the hotel was on the airport property (I'm not sure--it might have been!) but I had to drive a few miles (not far), which I guess is reasonable unless you want to stay on a runway.

I loved the hotel. As we needed one mainly for showering and sleeping, it was perfect. We liked not being bothered by maid service for daily linen changes. Also to have such great selections in the store rather than slow/expensive room service was something we had not used before, but thoroughly enjoyed. Close to everything. Maybe the one thing I would change would be to have shuttle service from the airport. That would have been more convenient for us since we were not renting a car. We will definately use again.

I chose Candlewood Suites for the first time and it was a great value. The beds and pillows were very comfy and the room had a microwave, kitchenette area, etc. It was located within about 5 minutes from the airport, so that was handy. The price was a lot lower than some in the same area yet it was very clean and nice. No pool, but that's okay if you aren't looking for one. Not much to do right around the area, but there is a Bob Evans restaurant and also Hickory House is right beside it. I ate at Hickory House and had a really good steak. I guess they are known for their BBQ too. I will definitely stay here again when flying to Columbus.

Our room was very clean and spacious. I was travelling with my teenage son so we were upgraded to a 2 room suite for a minimal charge. The ""cupboard"" was well-stocked with items we needed or wanted and the prices were inexpensive. The staff was wonderful. The free video rental was nice. Even though we were near the airport, our room was quiet and relaxing. Felt safe in the parking lot and hotel. Would absolutely stay here again.
