This hotel is very nice- the room was so roomy! It was very comfortable for 3 adults. The bedroom area was semi-open to the living area, and the one flat-screen TV swiveled to be viewed from either the bedroom area or the living area- this could be a problem if 2 TV's are preferred. The vanity outside the bathroom was a very large area. The sofa was an L-shaped sectional which was very comfortable. It had an ottoman which could be moved and used to hold luggage, making it very convenient. There was a refrigerator and sink. The coffee maker made one cup of coffee at a time directly into the cups- no coffee pot. There is a nice sized desk with comfortable chair on casters, which made using the FREE wireless internet comfortable. The AC worked very well and cooled the entire suite. There was ice on the 3rd and 5th floors, but no vending machines. The room was nicely furnished and clean. They were a bit scimpy with the soap- a larger bar would have been nice, or at least more than one small sample bar to be shared with the sink and the shower. There is a nice pool with tables and chairs on the deck. The free continental breakfast was disappointing, however. There were bagels and toast and fresh melons, cereals and yogurt. (No waffels, pancakes, omelets which are often found at other hotels). There are two computers in the lobby with a printer, which made it convenient to print boarding passes. The hotel is really close to the airport, and can easily be seen when driving, but figuring out how to get to it can be a bit tricky- thank goodness for the Garmin!

We stayed at the Hyatt by the Albequerque Airport and I must say I was not very impressed. The room itself was lovely and the large screen plasma TV was a definite plus. However, the bathtub had a slow running drain, so I got an unwelcome foot bath while taking a shower. From the very beginning we had trouble accessing the most basic amenities. We parked closest to the side door nearest our 4th floor room and found that our keys did not work. This caused us to drag all our luggage to the front lobby. Once inside the room, I had difficulty locating an ice machine. It was on the 3rd and 5th floor. I had to go all the way back down to the lobby to find this out. When I asked about a book or notebook of some kind to tell us about the hotel's amenities, I was told the Hyatt was going green and had all their info on the TV. However, the very basic info, i.e. check-out time, free continental breakfast time, was not on the channel. There was not any info at all about the pool, which turned out to be an outdoor pool, instead of the indoor pool advertised on the site. Finally, we hoped to at least have a great breakfast to start our long travel day ahead. But that too was very lean, consisting of only bagels, muffins, fruit and cereal. Even the coffee ran out on us. I left there wishing I had gone to the Comfort Inn and gotten a great breakfast and a $50 reward for my third stay since we had stayed there in CO for a couple nightsthe weekend before. They did have an indoor pool, sauna, hot tub and a great breakfast.

The hotel was wonderful! The staff was so friendly and we couldn't have asked for a better room! There was so much space it made the stay so pleasant. Especially since I have a toddler who loves to run around. I would definetely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Folks...I did a cross-country road trip...with kids. So that means I need some pretty godo rest at my stops. I ahd my laptop with me where I went online and grabbed a hotel as soon as I knew where I deicided to stay. By the time I got to Albuquerque, I wanted a nice stay but for an acceptab le price. I usually stay at Quality Inn or someplace OK like that for the cost. I went on Travel website and found the Hyatt Place for $15 more...well worth it. Great room, large giant size TV, swimming pool and the guys down at the front desk were awesome. It was late and we wanted to grab some food so the guy at the front desk went to the kitchen and fixed us a few sandwiches to tie us over for the night. It was so clean everywhere. If you're looking to spend a little bit more, then this is it. The regular price for this room I saw was twice as much than what i paid through Travel website. The only hard part about this was that it's not easy to get to. Had to drive around a few times to figure out where to get access to the Hyatt as there are three other hotels right there nearby as well.

The hotel is visible from the freeway, but hard to reach. Get very specific directions or use GPS to find this hotel. Staff said that the airport will not allow them to post directional signs. Hyatt Place is a good concept. Great bed, sofa, refrigerator big t.v. but few channels available. Room appeared new and was very comfortable. A good breakfast selection. Gallery has wine and beer posted for sale, but staff said that the city has not issued a liquor license. They've been waiting for more than a year for an existing license to be relinquished. Had to drive several miles to a seedy local store for a bottle of wine.
