The second shift staff did not have a knowledge of what rooms were occupied nor what rooms were in need of repair and should not be occupied. Our granddaughter was given a key to a room that was occupied with people in the bed. Our son was given a room that had a plugged toilet.

This is a very nice hotel. It is located near the airport but I did not hear the airplanes at night. The visual appearance of the hotel is superb and luxurious. I had an opportunity to eat at the bar/restaurant downstairs. The food was pricey, but tasty. I had a delicious raspberry sweet tea that I still remember the taste of. Detroit is not my favorite city to visit, but I did enjoy the Sheraton.

03/25/2008Very new refurbished rooms, very close to airport, staff was excellent, beds were very comfortable. will stay here whenever flying out of detroit metro.
