All, It is very nice hotel. The ammenties are wonderful. Overall, it was a very nice stay. If you go swimming on the hotel beach. You are on your own. No lifeguards. A man was drowning when we arrived and it took fellow guests to recue him. The hotel staff were of no immediate help. I screamed at one them to find help. In some fairness to the hotel, the drowning guest should have used common sense before going out too far from the beach while red flags were clearly posted. Another concern is beware of the sales tactics for you to buy vacation packages. They offer you a free meal for 90 minutes of your time when in reality it is a sales pitch. They use words like "it is the sale of a lifetime", and the patroniziing line "do you like saving money". One of them went as far as to say how beautiful my $15.00 cheap and cheesy sneakers I had were. If you do decide to take them up on their free meal, feel free to say, "NO" at the end of the sales pitch. Personally, I was there on vacation and was not in the mood to be sold anything nor in the mood to deal with a "used car salesman" in a flowery shirt. When I initially and repeatedly said, "NO", I was hit with three other salespeople in an attempt to convince me to buy. So, in total, I had to fend off four salespeople. Stick with your gut feeling on your decision to buy or not to buy, but don't be taken by the smooth talk, beautiful beach and beautiful ocean water. Enjoy your vacation.

We loved this hotel very much. It was in a great location and within walking distance of alot of things. This hotel was very clean. It seemed like some one was always cleaning something. We stayed for five days. It is true about the hard beds fortunately I did not realize that until the last night since the other nights we were so tired. We had the breakfast buffet only the last day that we were there. It was pretty good and now wish we would have had eaten there more often. We had dinner one night across the street at Lorenzillo's and that was really good. They had a really good desert. Do not take taxis to get around only take the bus. They are very frequent. They don't stop at every stop so when your ready to get off just say so. I would definitely stay again and hope to go back soon.

This hotel was very nice visually and comfortwise. The beaches were private and beautiful. Minor flaws: they charge $2.00/day for the use of in-room safes (why?) and make the guest sign a form stating they won't bring any outside food in, even bottled water and the minibars are locked until a credit card is left with the front desk.
