We survived 9 nights at the Hotel. Therefore, we can give you a honest & complete review. 1. Be extremely prepared for the weather. This hotel does not have AC. Therefore is freezing cold on the winter. I am talking about 45 to 50 Farenheith in the room and shower. The first night was the worst. 2. If you are snob do not stay here. Although clean, linens are very old, some have holes, and cigarrete burns and the carpet is not very clean (we wore shoes all the time) They still use the normal keys to get in the room (not the swipe kind) and when we misplaced our key, one of the managers at the front desk got very annoyed. We found it later. 3. The staff is very friendly, we requested extra towels, blankets, and bottled water and they were very accomodating. 4. One day the water was shut off for repair. I was not a happy camper in the middle of rinsing my hair. 5. You can not beat the price and location. Also the food prices @ the restaurant are reasonable. The portions are small but every morning I was looking forward for my good cup of coffee. The waiter brew a fresh pot for us every morning. 6.We used a safe box they have @ the reception area to keep our passports and money. It is free of charge. 7. They have free internet @ the lobby if you have a laptop. They also have a small computer that charges you $1.00 dollar for every 10 minutes. 8. Overall it was a good adventure.

The hotel is not fantastic, but relatively clean, safe and near downtown. Most of the personnel very attentive. My only objection is that we got a double bed for my daughter and I, even though we were supposed to get a queen! The night manager promised us a queen bed for the following night of our arrival, but the lady manager in the morning, said there was no queen beds available, so we spent the five nights not sleeping that well. But overall, it was not bad. Yes, we would stay there again, making sure we get a queen bed!!! Hopefully, this mishap will make the hotel personnel think about this and keep their word on the accomodations they promise. thank you, Maria

This place is nothing compare to what the show on internet, when I made the reservation on line the confirmation said I was going to get 2 going to get 2 double beds, when my husband arrived,(he was waiting for me in Mexico)they gave him 1 small room with 1 bed,he called me,I had to call online travel website, they changed to a double bed room, the sheets were burned from cigarretes, stain the towels were so old they were probably white when new,but they were so old that they were gray looking,I think this place is a shame,we checked out on Saturday first thing in the morning.Plus we had to pay $* one way to the airport. We found another place a much much better for almost the same price and close to the airport and other atractive places.

That staff, as with basically everyone I met in Mexico, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself, on the other hand... while it was clean, that was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. And the window only looked out into a small shaft in the building with other windows looking into it. So there was no view; the window's only purpose was to allow light in. The hotel restaurant was decent. The Mexican food there was excellent, but I wouldn't bother ordering a steak there.
