Stayed here August `09 for a conference. Very secure, clean business type hotel, but every item charged as an extra. The key benefits are the proximity to the U.S. Embassy, meeting accomodations & banquet service, as well as the aforementioned security. If you're a smoker, you're pretty much in exile here, as new laws pretty much prohibit smoking anywhere but outdoors.

This hotel has a great location. The room I had (in the tower facing the back of the street) was pretty small and the furnishings were dated -- basically, the bed took up almost the entire room space. The enamel sealing in the bathroom sink had almost completely peeled off, leaving the unfinished surface. (I was only staying three nights, got in late the first night, and did not want to go to the hassle of asking for a room change.) Service at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, though. It was surprisingly quiet there that week, which was very different from other trips there, and which made me wonder why I had one of the less desirable rooms. Rooms in the front of the hotel are newer. Overall, I think the experience at the hotel is overrated -- it gets a pass -- and I would try others along Reforma before I went back.

We stayed in the Pueblo Bonito Sunset in Cabo an Lucus. the last of July and the first of Aug.2009. Celebrating our 28th anniversary!!! Wow! What a beautiful place! The Sky pool was the best pool. ;Be sure and try the Dirty Monkeys at the pool! And all pools have happy hour from 4 to 5....best time to go!! The golf carts they have to take you around are perfect. We never had a problem with them. They were always at our door within 5 to 10 minutes. You have a beautiful view of the Pacific ocean. But remember you can NOT swim here...go into town for ocean swimming. The restaurants are expensive at the resort.. We ate in our room a lot. We did go into the sister resort, the Pueblo Bonito Rose. Is is on the Sea of Cortez side. If you want more to do this is where you want to stay. If you want more laid back and relax type then stay at Sunset. They have lots of activities on the beach at the Rose. We do highly recommend the sunset cruize on the Caboray. It was super and the food was excellent. We went into Cabo San Jose one day too. Actually we really liked this town a lot. It has a very quaint town center with lots of shops and nice little places to eat. Remember you are at a timeshare place so you do have to deal with the timeshare people....just go through the presentation, get your free stuff....and don't feel guilty for saying no if you want......but they will try you!!!! Be strong!!!! We will go back to Cabo!!!!!!

This is a really good place to stay if you are not on a budget... the location is great, just in front of the angel de la independencia, and the US embassy...

Walking distance from attractions like Torre Mayor, Chapultepec Castle, Chapultepec Forest, Zona Rosa, etc.

The prices are expensive, the restaurant is not bad, but you can get something better somewhere else, by the same price.

The WI - FI intenet is not free, ther charge like 15 USD for 24 hours of internet, wich is crazy!
