Excellent service
10/06/2009Everything was just fine. everything worked well, staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. everything was very clean. the bed was very comfortable. the heat worked fine. the breakfast was fine.

My wife tried to check us into the room while I was in a business meeting, and the woman at the front desk refused to check her n because the room reservation was under my name, not hers. The clerk told her that if she gave a credit card with her name on it to cover incidentals, since the room had already been paid for, she would be able to check her in under the reservation number. The room was terrible, like a prison, and the bed was a full-size, not the queen-size that had been specified in the reservation. When my wife called the front desk to change rooms to the room that had been paid for, the same clerk told her that this was impossible because the room had been paid for online and that any issues had to be straightened out through the travel site. My wife called Travel agent and they told her that the reservation was for the queen size bed, but the woman at the desk insisted that there would be an additional charge. My wife decided not to waste the energy arguing. The next morning, we checked out of our prison cell, and the next day there was another charge for the room on my wifes card. We had been double charged and it took the management a week to straighten out the mess. It was an absolute hassle and would highly disuade anyone from staying at this hotel.
