Upon arrival the lobby was very dirty, checked into the room and could hear normal conversation through the wall from the adjoining room to the point that we felt we were in the same room. Could even hear them open the drapes. Was afraid to go into the hot tub or pool due to the place being so dirty. At breakfast went next door to a different hotel due to the bad experience we had.

Based upon other reviews, I had high hopes for this stay. I am a frequent traveler over the inland northwest working with a travel agency. This was my first time using travelocity, and I was suprised to find A Red Lion for the price of this one. There was a reason for the price. In the details of the hotel, it states that additional fees may apply for options at the hotel. One of those things is a fee to simply park your care, 10.00 A day!! Keep that in mind, as you can put that 10.00 towards a better option for staying in the area. I must say, the rooms are not bad, moderatly clean, everything appears to work, however, they rooms do not have mini-fridges or microwaves. Based upon the layout of the room, they once did, but have been removed. In addition, the front desk staff was simply rude while checking in. Really not a good value for the price IMHO.

We had to cancel our Disneyland trip due to the thunderstorm that rolled in this week. Including funnel clouds, lightening, downpours, and water spouts. Love to fly...not in that environment! We were staying over at SeaTac in the Red Lion, booked through an online travel website, non-refundable, non-changeable. Called the online travel website to see if we could change it to Friday night and just turn it into a Seattle shopping trip. They were great and contacted Red Lion for me, but said they had to wait for them to call back. I also called and spoke with Heather, the reservation manager. She went above the call of duty, very friendly and allowed us, at no additional cost, to change to Friday night. We arrived about 3:30pm, were treated very quickly at check in, went to our room expecting a normal hotel room. Boy, we were pleasantly surprised. We had a room with a window overlooking the small lake behind the hotel. The room was huge and roomy. The desk was marble topped and oversized, very nice touch. The beds were lined with pillows, extremely comfortable, and very nicely decorated decor throughout. I was with my ll yr old son, who is quite opinionated about where we stay. He was quite impressed and pleased with this hotel and our room. We went off to Bellevue Square - to the Lego store of course! Since it was Friday night most nice restaurants were packed with waiting lists, so we went back to the room and decided to try the room service at about 7:30pm. Wow, again pleasantly surprised! Took only 20 minutes, my sons 1/3 lb bacon/cheeseburger with steak fries, and my chicken chipotle, avacado, on ciabatta bread...YUMMM! Everything was hot, fries were crisply and the sandwiches weren't soggy. We wanted to stay another night!

Got to the room and it was an OVEN, at least 85 degrees! Called the front desk got maintenance to ""fix"" the problem while we were out for dinner. Got back to room and it was maybe 5 degrees cooler - you couldn't even open the window more than about 5 inches. Ended up getting a big fan from maintenance to stay somewhat cool during the night. We're Alaskan's we can't take the heat, but it was hot as heck. Got up early to shower and catch our next flight and there was NO HOT WATER!! Had to throw some water on our faces and head to the airport. Wouldn't stay there again, very disappointed with the whole experience.
