My family had a excellent vacation at the Royal Solaris. It was very clean, friendly & new. My 6 year old had the best vacation ever. The kids pool and play area it better in person than in the photos and it is right next to the adult pools. There was always activities to do and the food never ended. You can buy any excursions right at your hotel and there is tons of different things to do at the hotel (pool volleyball, pool bingo, fashion shows). And the nightly shows were great . I recommend the Dolphin swim with the Water Park we stayed at the park till it closed at 5:00 then you take a bus back to your hotel for $*per. person. Travel online did a great job at finding us a package deal. And everything went very smoothly. If you are looking for peace and quite and don't like children , this is not the hotel for you. We drank the water and all of the drinks made with ice all week and no one got sick . The water is purified.

CLEAN!!! I am picky on cleanliness, service, and functionality... this resort scored high. I returned within 3 weeks because of how much I enjoyed my experience. Having spoken with many people in the hotel area, it seemed that this resort was the perfect combination of luxury and price. If you like POOLS and pampered service, with floors you can eat off of, then you can't go wrong here. Many who stayed at more expensive hotels liked this one more. If you stay past 6 days, you may need to rely on something other than the resort food., but there are other options. You have to go to the theme shows they put on... very professional and fun! I went in the very narrow off season, so it was very personalized. Seems great for kids too (I have none myself). The jacuzzi on the balcony ROCKS and the price was cheaper than poopy city hotels where I live. I will probably be visiting Cancun a few times per year when comparing it with other destinations. COLD air conditioning, HOT showers, unlimited towels, amazing spa, great beach, and access to the tower next door and the GR Solaris included. Great staff ready to help you with anything. Now all I need is a kickback for such a glaring review, ha!

To whom it may concern, We have stayed at this property at least eight times over the last nine years and have always loved it here, the people a really nice and that part has not changed a bit. the part that has changed is that they have all the amenities they listed but have also scaled back those amenites by sixty percent, in othere words you get alot less for your money. NO excuses, it was not the time of the year or economy, flu virus, etc, they simply want to cut costs and it shows terribly.Out of about eight restaurants two of the best were closed the whole time we were there and several other lunch and breakfast areas also closed down, one place to eat breakfast everyday and the same old food at that, yes they will make you an omelet or pancakes but the food was poor too fair at best, not as prior trips to this location. There just was not any husle or busle here this time and we actually found the beach more welcoming but, without service as there usually was. Something to remember, they try and sell timeshares at this facility and several other locations like three doors down their Grand Solaris as well as Los Cabos, Mexico, do not buy there, you may be very sorry you did, because once they start building new resorts the will scale down what you have again. There is one more very interesting area, this is room upgrades! About eighty percent vacancy and they would not upgrade to a terrace, funny for sure, do not care is more like it. Fairwell my vacationing friends.
